What We're Up To During COVID-19

A Little Hope..

..to brighten your day.

How are you?

I wanted to slide into your inbox and check up on you, friend. These are weird times and I hope that I can encourage you by connecting with you in ways that are currently encouraged and safe. Below is a little blurb I've written about this season of business for KTP and what I'm up to in the coming weeks. Enjoy!

Dear KTP Family and Friends,
As we venture into the season ahead, I feel as though it is more important than ever to encourage connection, although it is mostly from a distance at this time. Like many other businesses, we have been monitoring the movement of COVID-19, and are affected by it in the form of lowered or lost bookings for large families and some events from March-May 2020. Current sessions with individuals and small groups of 4 or less are still a go! Thank goodness for zoom lenses, so I can stand a little bit farther back.....LOL! We will continue to keep our loyal clients informed of changes made to KTP to accommodate the COVID-19 situation. In the meantime, here are some things you can do to support local small businesses and KTP specifically:

1. Leave a review on Google or their Facebook Business Page.
2. Order quality prints, canvases and photo books from your gallery for you and your loved ones, to spice up your space as we self-quarantine. (Email me for more info..)[make online purchases]
3. Book a 30-min session for yourself or your business (headshots/personal: $50 {studio or on location locally}){MESSAGE ME FOR MORE INFO!}
4. Buy a KTP Gift Card for someone needing to get out and treat themselves.
5. RESCHEDULE NOT CANCEL
6. Share, repost, retweet
7. Leave a tip
8. Ask how you can help
9. Tell friends about them.
10. Shoot them a message and check up on them.

So, what am I up to while we take precautions amidst COVID-19?

1. WE'RE MOVING! Yes, this is a crazy time to be moving, but as I've said before, God's got a plan for us and I don't doubt that our move to Macclenny, FL is ill-timed at all. We load up the moving trailers on Saturday and Sunday! Woot Woot!
2. Business Education: Every year, I purchase some sort of education to help me better my craft and become more valuable to my community. This year, I purchased a month by month year-long business journey course that I need to catch up on and complete the last two months of coursework! Whew!
3. I'm still offering photo services to individuals and couples, and am excited to offer a special on headshots or personal portraits for around $50 either in the studio or on location in Jacksonville! (or my backyard! More on that soon!)
4. I'm still teaching QKids on the side which has proven to be the biggest blessing amidst this international crisis. QKids is an English language learning platform for Chinese kids. Since all the Chinese children are quarantined, there are SO MANY class times available and there is a high demand for teachers on the platform. I've made more money in the past month than I have so far because of all the open class times. Want to teach with QKids? Follow this link to apply! http://teacher.qkids.net/ref?code=IQUIBJ
5. Personal/business projects: There are a number of things that photographers do on the off-season to keep their business growing, but since this season is proving to be a bit longer than usual, I get to focus more on some bigger projects that I may have tackled little by little over time.

Stay healthy, friends. How can I pray for you?
