Bride Spotlight: Mrs. Missy Buhler

I have a special treat for you today! This year’s business point of interest is my client experience, and specifically, how I can improve and build upon it. My clients are what make my tables turn, my shutter click, and my weekends bright! They deserve the most amazing experience I can craft for them! Even though Missy is a 2019 KTP Bride, I want to share her words with you so you can get an idea of what it’s like to be a KTP Bride, from the client’s point of view! This response is so sweet, so enjoy!

Bride:

Mrs. Missy Buhler

1.     Tell how you met your spouse and your love story. (3 or so sentences)

My husband and I actually went to the same high school together, but he was a grade above me. Steven and I met (officially) in 2014 through work. I was having a rough day and needed help. Steven, who actually worked on the other side of the facility, offered to help me. And boy was I mesmerized instantly. We had mutual friends so we were able to hang out nonchalantly. On November 6th, 2014, Steven asked me to be his girlfriend in the cutest way, with cookies!!! How sweet! I quickly learned that Steven was my human. Pretty early on in our relationship I knew Steven was the one. So much so that I was the first to say “I love you”.  On October 21st, 2018, with both families present, Steven got down on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage. He completely surprised me, in the absolute best way!

2.     What you envisioned for your wedding day. (3 or so sentences)

I envisioned an easy, laid back, outdoor wedding day. However, the night before our wedding there was a 90% chance that it was going to rain on our day. But by the grace of God, the skies cleared and we were able to have the wedding we dreamed of.

3.     What mattered most to you on your wedding day. (1 to 2 sentences)

What matted most to me on my wedding day was that my groom was having a blast just as much as I was. I wanted Steven and I to both have a similar experience. I didn’t want to be all fun and no work and Steven be all work and no fun on our big day. (Steven helped put up last minute decorations, signs, and pews).

4.     Share about any special locations, vendors, or features of your wedding day that made it so special. (up to 5 sentences)

Our wedding venue was actually one of the bridesmaids family farm. It was so special to me that they allowed us to use their land and provide so many resources! All our flowers were done by the same bridesmaids mother. Our sweets and cake were made by my mother in law. My maid of honors mother made all the boxes that held our flowers.

5.     Reflect on your wedding and share what your favorite memory was.

Some of my top favorite memories from my wedding was our first dance. To have that intimate moment with just Steven meant to much. I’ve never felt every word of a song like that before.

Another one was that my brother walked me down the aisle. My siblings and I are incredibly close. To have my brother willing to walk me down the aisle and give me away was a serious tear-jerker, for me!

Another one was my mother-daughter dance. It gave my mother and me time to reflect on the day and us talked just us two, without interruptions! And Kailee captured each and every one of the moments.
