1. How did you meet?

Sam and I met at college a few years ago and became friends through our mutual love for our school. We were both philosophy majors so we left each class with many thoughts, thus there was always plenty to discuss with one another. We were close friends for about a year before he asked me out, then we were engaged less than a year later. Being close friends before dating made our relationship so much fun, and marriage has been sweeter than we ever imagined!

2. What were some of your favorite memories of your wedding day?

For our wedding day we wanted all the people! Children, family, friends, church family, all those who helped shape us over the years (or as many as possible). We envisioned eating good food (and cake!), listening to favorite tunes, and being surrounded by our favorite people. Our day ended up being all this and more. It was our perfect celebration.

3. Describe your dream for your wedding day, or what was important to you about that day.

Apart from the people, the photography was what I cared most about for our wedding. Many friends told me I wouldn’t remember a lot of the details, so finding someone good to capture them for me was a big priority! I wanted to remember everything, but if I couldn’t I wanted to have the moments and faces captured. This was done perfectly and we love remembering our wedding day through the photos!
