December 2019 PowerSheets Goals & 2020 PS Prep
Ok, friends. We’re down to the last month of the year and the decade! I’m so excited for something fresh and new. So in the spirit of new wine skins, here are this month’s PowerSheets Goals and a look at my 2020 PowerSheets!
If you’re still unsure what PowerSheets are, I encourage you to visit www.cultivatewhatmatters.com to read all about them. In short, it is a goal planner to help you uncover and pursue goals that matter. When we hear goals, we think “new year resolutions” and “to-do”. While these things are important to many people, this isn’t that kind of book. PowerSheets ask you what matters most to you, where do you want to be when you’re 80, and then it helps you uncover your yearly goals so you can take a step toward those dreams. You can save your weekly to-do’s for sticky notes and random scraps of paper. :D
So let’s start off with this month’s goals!

At the end of this month, I’ll flip to this page and celebrate the year! There’s so many little prompts that take a look at the best parts of every month! Progress over perfection is a key phrase here, so even if you marked one little checkmark as progress during the whole year, THAT’S PROGRESS! And cause for celebration!
Up next is the 2020 Powersheets and I’M SO EXCITED! I went for the Confetti cover because I felt like it was such a great representation of next year. A year of newness, celebration, and joy!
There were four covers to choose from this year; Confetti, Blooms, Teal Linen, and Pink Linen. Teal linen sold out so quickly, and I think Blooms is gone. (or it’s Pink Linen…not sure). :D
Take a look inside the cover! SO CUTE!
The first step is the hardest…..writing your name. Once you get it written, you finally feel able to crack open your PowerSheets and start digging! Note: I started on December 1st, but it doesn’t take that long to go through the Prep Work. It takes many people from 20 minutes to an hour or two. I just started early so my goals can slow-cook through December and I’m confident in what I’ll be pursuing this year!*
Ok, guys, one of my favorite things….STICKERS!!! Look at that whole page that comes with the book! AHH! SO GOOD! (I also bought a sticker book this year too, so…..) :)
This is the end of the Prep Work and currently where I’m at right now. I didn’t show you the internal pages of the Prep Work section because it gets really personal. You talk about your fears, dreams, tendencies, and much more, and well, that’s for mine eyes only. :) As of today (Dec 11, I’m working on my vision board. These photos will be such a good reminder of what matters most to me throughout the year.
Ok, this is what the “Tending List” looks like! Lara’s brand is all about gardening, nature, and the process of it all. It fits so perfectly. These are the things we grow each month. See the spaces? Monthly, Weekly, Daily. Then, every Tuesday, we check in for Tending List Tuesday and see how we’ve made progress on our goals that week. So, see? Not necessarily an every day thing that adds to the pile of your obligations, but sort of a back-burner progress that you periodically check into.
Finally, we’ve come to my word of the year. I think I’ve got it, but I haven’t filled out this cared yet that came with the package. I’ll reveal my word in January! This word is your capstone word for your year. All your goals will point to this word, and you’ll be encouraged this year by looking at your word.
