I can't tell you how humbled and thrilled I was when Katie reached out to me about photographing her wedding! Suddenly everything came full circle and one of the most precious parts of my job begins: the moment you begin walking with old friends through life-changing moments. it's the moment you get to see someone you've watched grow up, make big decisions.  it's one of the high points of a job that often gets clouded by self-promotion within the industry and reminds me that whether or not I sweated over my website copy, curated the perfect blog post, or planned the best Instagram I could, I'm often hired for me. And that's so encouraging! 

Katie and Brandon are the result of a bonafide Emma! Wait, what? An Emma? A MATCHMAKER! (Thank you, Jane Austen). Katie and Brandon were set up by the sweetest friend (thank you, Abbey!) and y'all, the rest is history! They both held out for God's plan and when it came to pass, they locked each other down! it is just the sweetest thing. You can tell that they love each other so much with a tenderness that is rarely found these days. It was a joy to visit the Oldest City In The Nation for their engagement photos. I'm so glad to be a part of Katie and Brandon's wedding day. What a blessing!
