Sunsets. Fields. Irresistible southern charm. A baby. A sweet marriage. These are a few of my favorite things! Can't you tell? This session is absolutely glowing!! I can remember a time long ago when Kyle and I took a trip up to Georgia with our family to a hunting camp. The house was a three story plantation farmhouse that overlooked a massive cotton plantation. The home was not updated at all and lacked central heating and air, no lights except for one or two downstairs rooms, and doors that had been sealed off. We did bring our campers and motor-homes, though.

It was the perfect backdrop for my dad to scare us kids with tales of goonies and ghouls. Our family sat by fires, we played in the massive fields that enveloped every side of the house. It was past cotton harvesting season so there were very few cotton bulbs left on the bare stems. It was cold, glowing, and the perfect playground for two country kids.

I couldn't help but remember those great memories as I watched him now frolic in a field with his wife and new baby. *cue happy tears*!!! Well, maybe not "frolic", but it is a beautiful field and makes the soul happy. :D
